ATTENTION:
Welcome to Mr. Ruona, a past Twin Ports Sea Cadet who is fresh out of the USN! Mr. Ruona wants to give back to the unit for his years spent with us. Mr. Ruona was a Quartemaster/Signalman on the USS Roosevelt. He will be a great asset to the unit!
KEY EVENTS THIS DRILL:
DRILL TO BE HELD SATURDAY AT THE CAF, SUNDAY AT THE LAW OFFICE. BRING WITH YOU WARM GLOVES AND CAP. LONG UNDERWARE UNDER YOUR UTILITIES IS RECOMENDED.
SUPPLY:
Make sure your uniforms are pressed, that they have been altered and/or repaired and that you have had a fresh hair cut.
All uniforms MUST HAVE THE FLASHES AND NAME TAPES SEWN ON THEM. If you have not received the name tapes, please get them ordered!! Anyone with any uniform items that do not have FLASHES sewn on will be sent home. This is a USN and USNSCC regulation that we MUST adhere to.
Remind LTJG Ilstrup that you need to update your uniform issuance list if you have returned an item or received an item.
TRAINING:
For those of you that have not turned in any course work lately, this could effect your next promotion. Get it turned in ASAP. E-mail or talk with LT Deb Ilstrup if you have questions.
Upcoming events:
MAY- Flag ship - Great Lakes - May 16-17-18
MAY - Memorial Weekend Parade - West Duluth. Let CO know if you would be available to participate.
JUNE- Trainings
Remember, if you are going to miss drill for ANY reason, or you are going to be late for ANY reason, you MUST contact the CO at the above number. There are no excuses. Keep in mind there is a difference between an excused and unexcused absence.
RECRUITMENT:
All potential Cadets must contact LTJG Donna Stone (CO) to make an appointment to check out the Unit. I must meet with the perspective Cadet and at least one parent before allowing them to sit in with any Unit activities.
